By the late 1950’s Terry had become established as a leading abstract painter, exhibiting regularly in London and throughout the world. In 1974 Terry moved permanently to Newlyn in Cornwall, where his love of the region proved a rich source of inspiration for much of his work. He was one of Britain’s most successful and highly acclaimed artists of the Twentieth Century. This was recognised in the 1998 New Years Honours List when Sir Terry Frost RA was granted a Knighthood.
Sir Terry Frost RA regretably passed away on the 1st September 2003.
